The IX International Exhibition of Fabrics and Textile Materials was held in Moscow on
March 1-3.
 

A show of fur collections was held during the exhibition. And it was organised by the Russian Union of Textile and Light Industry Entrepreneurs together with the  "Accessory Fur" company.

A forum of the fur market participants was held after the show.
Positive trends were noted there. In particular they mentioned that there is a significant demand for national fur today in Russia.
 

Apart from the positive aspects, the participants  discussed the pressing problems.
The representative of our auction house noted: "This magnificent winter did coincided with a terrible economic situation. The market and the buyers changed, people postponed the purchases. At the same time, we could see the helicopter money to be distributed in other countries. It was not the case for Russia, of course»

A unique top lot of wild sable was sold at the last «RUSPUSHNINA» online-auction -$500 per skin.
These are skins of a dark 3rd color, the ones with blue shade and silvery hair, that is traditional for this product.

Summing up the results of the auction, we would like to note that both the auction and the buyers have adapted to the new trading conditions.
